Visit of the CNA begins for Cali Physiotherapy accreditation

This Wednesday, May 11, the Physiotherapy program at the Cali headquarters of the María Cano University Foundation began the visit of the National Accreditation Council – CNA to obtain high quality recognition. At the opening meeting, led by the rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, Laura Rocío Reyes Díaz and Ginna Marcela Pacheco Ramos were welcomed, who will be accompanying this important institutional process until Friday, May 13. The activity will take place with a face-to-face agenda where the academic and administrative team in the capital of Valle del Cauca, the national leaders and the entire university community are ready to attend to all the requirements of the visitors.
Dr. Laura Rocío Reyes Díaz is a Physiotherapist from the Manuela Beltrán University, has a Specialization in Rehabilitation of the hand and the upper limb, has a Master’s Degree in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the UNIR University and works as coordinator of outpatient health services, at IPS Fomesalud, in addition to his work as an academic peer of the Ministry of National Education.
For her part, Dr. Ginna Marcela Pacheco Ramos is a Physiotherapist from the Ibero-American University Corporation, with a specialization in bodily injury assessment from the CES University and a Master’s degree in education with an emphasis on educational management from the Free University. She works as a leader of the Health Administration Program at the National Open and Distance University – UNAD, has experience in support and accompaniment in self-assessment processes for the purpose of high-quality accreditation and renewal of qualified records, as well as in carrying out self-assessment processes. institutional and program; It is an international academic peer for accreditation processes of programs and institutions.
The María Cano University Foundation and its different academic programs in the country have been preparing with a strict analysis of the different quality conditions to achieve this great institutional goal of accrediting its undergraduate programs in the cities of Medellín, Cali, Neiva and Popayán. , with the clear goal of meeting the projections outlined in the 2017-2026 Development Plan called “Building the Future”.
