The María Cano University Foundation remains committed to quality in all its actions at the Medellín, Cali, Neiva, Popayán and Mariacanovirtual campuses, which is why it begins this year 2022 with the external audit of face-to-face monitoring, by Icontec, which has The main purpose is to evaluate the degree of compliance of the Quality Management System in relation to the quality requirements of the ISO 9001 Standard to renew this institutional recognition, through the identification of strengths, opportunities for improvement and projected works that allow providing a better service to the entire internal and external community at the national level. At the same time, progress will be evaluated with the 5555 and 5580 certifications obtained by the Language Center.

For 5 days, with face-to-face activities at all locations in the country, the auditors: Ana María Suárez Molina and Ángela María Mendoza Ledezma, will have an agenda in which they will accompany the different institutional processes, such as: institutional management, human talent and well-being , physical infrastructure, teaching, graduates, internationalization, research, ICT management, educational media, communications, marketing, admissions and outreach.

The visit is received by the Rector, Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, the vice-rectors, the leaders of the different areas of the Institution, the coordinators of the venues and the leaders of the support teams; who have prepared themselves in a serious and committed manner to demonstrate, once again, the great institutional commitment to the growth and consolidation of María Cano, which responds to the goals set in the 2017-2026 Development Plan «Construyendo Futuro».
