We are excited because the turn with the CNA is in Cali
- 11 mayo, 2022

Dear students, teachers, graduates, collaborators and strategic allies of María Cano, in the city of Cali: We continue to travel our Quality Route!
The next stop is at the Cali headquarters, in the Physiotherapy program, which will be visited by academic peers from the National Accreditation Council – CNA, attached to the Ministry of National Education. Said Council has already visited us in other programs, in the headquarters of Medellín, Popayán and Neiva.
I am writing to you as rector and leader of the management team to convey to you the optimism and confidence we have in the outcome of this visit. Because we know and we have been positively infected by the passion with which the coordination, the professors, the graduates and the Physiotherapy undergraduate students, in the capital of Valle del Cauca, have shown, throughout this entire process of self-assessment of the program and, now, of the preparation and attention of the visit that we will have this week.
We know that the results will be unbeatable, even with the natural observations and recommendations that the highly qualified academic peers who will visit us, and from other prestigious universities, make. Your experience is a unique opportunity for us to continue growing.
During the three days of the visit, the Cali Physiotherapy program will continue to act as usual, and must provide the respectful and due attention that our visitors deserve. Between Wednesday and Friday, in front of academic peers, we will continue to be cheerful, but respectful; restless, but attentive to what they tell us; with doubts, but with all the spirit to continue learning. What it is about is sharing our spirit and academic bets, with all the energy and disposition that accreditation means to us as a possibility to inherit to our fellow students, and to future generations, the wonderful good name that, without haste, but without pause, the institution has been forged by hand throughout its more than two decades in the city of Cali.
The visit of the CNA is an intermediate stop in the institutional commitment to consolidate a permanent and rising quality. The experience of other programs, the commitment of teachers, the participation of students, the institution’s efforts to optimize laboratory conditions and infrastructure, and the curricular reform that took the program to 10 semesters, among others, go beyond accreditation, which is a recognition of the effort to give more to our students, teachers, graduates and the community in general.
After all, the Institution is theirs and for them; because our educational commitment points to entrepreneurship, innovation, networking and social commitment.
That is why we are María Cano, and that is why the Accreditation is with me!
