We honor the best averages of the first period of 2022

The María Cano University Foundation recognizes the work of the students who stand out in the different academic programs, for the results in each semester, it is for this reason that the agreement with the provisions of the Academic Regulations, chapter XIII related to incentives, in Article 67 establishes the opportunity to award the Scholarship for Academic Excellence to the three undergraduate students of each program, who reach the highest academic average in the immediately preceding period, after meeting the requirements, which imply having registered and passed, without enabling , the totality of the subjects that make up the study plan, within the respective academic period, exempts students who have only enrolled in the practice, not repeating subjects, accredit in said academic period an average of not less than four with five, that there is a favorable opinion on the part of the Faculty Council for this recognition, not having been sanctioned disciplinary and that the average of the periods completed is not less than four. The outstanding students are in the Medellín and Neiva campuses.
First place that benefits from the 100% exemption from the payment of tuition fees in the second semester of 2022: Laura Sofia Zapata Velásquez from the Physiotherapy program, Manuela Betancur Ospina and Angie Katherine Rodríguez Sánchez from the Speech Therapy program, Diana Marcela Rentería Bedoya from the Psychology program, Sara Estrada Licona and Andrea Isaza Cadavid from the Business Administration program, María Paulina Cárdenas Henao and Estefanía Suarez Echeverri from the Public Accounting program, and Juan Camilo Blandón Gutiérrez from the Software Engineering program.
Second place that benefits from the exemption of 50% of the payment of tuition fees in the second semester of 2022: Andrea Parra Chavarría from the Physiotherapy program, José David Zapata Hincapié and Valeria Posada Salazar from the Speech Therapy program, Claudia Yurany Rivera Cardona from Psychology program, Johana Meliza Álvarez Jaramillo and Jasbeidy Aida Vargas Serna from the Business Administration program, Laura Patricia Lopera Posada and Isabel Sáenz Camaño from Public Accounting and Claider Yardany Gómez Acevedo from the Software Engineering program.
Third place that benefits from the exemption of 30% of the payment of tuition fees in the second semester of 2022: Juan Manuel Arbeláez Palacio from the Physiotherapy program, Camila Pulgarín Carvajal from the Speech Therapy program, Ángela María Viana Quintero from the Psychology program, Valentina Colorado Bedoya and Sandra Milena Toro Muñoz from the Business Administration program, Luisa Fernanda Montoya Gómez and Juan Pablo Ruiz Bonilla from the Public Accounting program, and Miguel Antonio Restrepo Arismendy from the Software Engineering program.
