The María Cano University Foundation received a visit from Dr. Adriana Xiomara Reyes Gamboa, counselor of the CNA, during an awareness session about the multi-campus institutional accreditation process. The work, led by Rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, together with the vice-rectors and the Institution’s leaders, aimed to officially present the work schedule and the actions to be carried out in the coming months.

Ms. Reyes Gamboa holds a PhD in Systems and Computer Engineering from the National University of Colombia, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of the Andes, a specialization in Teleinformatics from the Francisco José de Caldas District University, and a Systems Engineering degree from the Francisco de Paula Santander University.

Within her academic and teaching experience, she has served as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Colombian Polytechnic Jaime Isaza Cadavid, a research professor in the Systems and Informatics postgraduate area, and an Associate Researcher at Minciencias; she was a member of the ICT board of CONACES and Coordinator of the Coordinators’ board of CONACES from 2020 to 2022. She has experience in higher education quality assurance systems and program accreditation and is also an international peer reviewer for ARCU-SUR. Currently, Dr. Xiomara has joined the Council representing the field of Engineering, Architecture, and related disciplines.
