Nestor Alonso Perlaza Ruiz assumes, from this Monday February 3rd, the Coordination of The Maria Cano in the capital of Valle del Cauca. He is a professional with more than 10 years of teaching and research experience with specializations on anatomy, histoembryology and neuroanatomy. He has developed administrative and academic functions as Head of the Basic Sciences Area of educational institutions. Besides, he has also been an academic peer of Colciencias, now the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.

Physiotherapist of the University of Valle, Master in Forensic Anthropology of the University of Granada (Spain), and Master in Biomedical Sciences of the University of Valle.

He has worked at Clinica Valle de Lili, the University of Valle, the National School of Sports and the University Santiago de Cali. He also stands out for various academic and scientific publications that contribute to the well-being and health of the community.
