The Departmental Institute of Sports, Physical Education, Recreation and Use of Free Time of Huila, through the sports promotion and leadership office, invited the María Cano University Foundation, Neiva headquarters, to participate in the under 17 national interleague tournament male branch, held in the capital of the department in the last week of September. The support provided by the physiotherapy program, through the members of the sports practice, was essential for the prevention and care of injuries, while contributing to the physical recovery of the participants from the Valle, Meta, Santander delegations. , Casanare, Risaralda, Huila, Atlántico, Caquetá, Bogotá, Cundinamarca, Antioquia, Tolima, Magdalena and Guaviare.

The accompaniment was guided by the teacher and physiotherapist Sergio Alejandro Quijano Duarte at the facilities of the Universidad Surcolombiana in the city of Neiva. In addition, it is important to highlight that the Departmental Institute of Sports, Physical Education, Recreation and Use of Free Time of Huila aims to adopt for the department the policies, plans and programs that, in matters of sports, physical education, recreation and use of free time, established in the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Culture.
