In an effort to strengthen quality education and training in the department of Valle del Cauca, a meeting was led by the coordinator of the Cali headquarters, Alba Liliana Garzón Calderón, and the support professional of the Language Center, Ingrid Tatiana López Victoria, with the advisors of the Office of the Government of Valle del Cauca, María Lucero Urriago and Valentina Rojas, with the objective of establishing common actions that allow the participation of the Institution in innovative projects such as the educational digital campus, the possibility of practice scenarios of for students of the different academic programs, immersion in activities that link the academic work of the institution and the promotion of the academic offer among the more than 12,000 collaborators of the departmental administration.

This approach is an example of joint work between the academic and government sectors, promoting access to higher education and the deployment of the social projection of María Cano to contribute to the progress and well-being of the entire population of Valle del Cauca, positively impacting in the development of their communities. It is expected that this agreement will be the beginning of many collaborative projects to benefit the region.
