Work for entrepreneurship is strengthened
- 27 octubre, 2023

The María Cano University Foundation, through the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, held the discussion with the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem that included the participation of the Emprender Fund, the Medellín Chamber of Commerce, Créame Business Incubator and Innpulsa Colombia, emphasizing the collaboration of entities to promote entrepreneurship and business strengthening. Likewise, issues were discussed regarding access to financial resources such as seed capital for the operation of business ideas and companies. The relationship with the ecosystem represents an important step for the consolidation of the entrepreneurial route of the Unit.
Likewise, the Institution led another academic event on experiences of social entrepreneurship in education, led by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, which through its action policies has been promoting spaces for conversation and reflection around social entrepreneurship. Professor Ana Páramo was moderating the discussion that included the participation of the Territorio Amaí Foundation, Oda Rituales and Intelitic, on social entrepreneurship projects in education. The development of the activity was around the experiences to decide to be social entrepreneurs, motivated to provide solutions based on the needs of communities in different territories with the implementation of technologies that provide tools to access education.
From this discussion, some conclusions are left as recognition of the territory to generate solutions from the social and environmental problems they face. On the other hand, a call is made to Higher Education Institutions, companies and social entities to contribute so that, collaboratively, they ensure that all people have access to quality education.
