3D Innovation Strengthens Learning Experience for María Cano Students in Cali
- 1 junio, 2026
The María Cano University Foundation, Cali campus, continues to strengthen its commitment to comprehensive student education through practical learning experiences that foster innovation and technological engagement. In this context, members of the innovation research group “InnOva” carried out an academic field visit to the 3D design and innovation laboratory at the University Institution Antonio José Camacho (UNIAJC).
During the visit, students had the opportunity to directly explore the operation, capabilities, and diverse applications of digital manufacturing technologies, with a special focus on 3D printing. This experience allowed them to broaden their understanding of design and prototyping processes, which are essential in the development of innovative solutions.

The activity also enabled participants to analyze the impact of emerging technologies on innovation and entrepreneurship projects, strengthening their creative and technical competencies. In this way, the experience promoted an applied approach to knowledge, bridging theoretical concepts with real-world technological environments.
Such initiatives reaffirm the institutional commitment of the María Cano University Foundation to creating collaborative learning spaces, encouraging knowledge exchange, and fostering partnerships with other higher education institutions. These efforts contribute to the training of professionals capable of responding effectively to the challenges of today’s dynamic environment.
Finally, this experience stands as a strategic opportunity to enhance skills in innovation, design, and critical thinking, contributing to the academic development of the “InnOva” research group students and reinforcing the institution’s positioning in education focused on social and technological transformation.
