The Specialization in Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy of the María Cano University Foundation seeks to train competent specialists in the prescription of therapeutic exercise, evaluation and diagnostic tests from Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy, who can meet the labor demand in the area.
Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy, as a discipline, ensures respiratory care and mechanical ventilation in critically ill patients. Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy skills are developed in practical scenarios of medium and high complexity, such as intensive care units, operating rooms and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services.
This training will develop specialist skills to design, manage, coordinate and/or execute programs and projects aimed at reducing cardiopulmonary risk factors in different populations, having as a differentiating element the development of cardiopulmonary telerehabilitation programs in clinical and non-clinical settings.
