- 25 julio, 2025

The María Cano University Foundation, Neiva campus, held a strategic meeting with representatives from College21 with the aim of initiating dialogue toward the creation of an inter-institutional cooperation agreement. This alliance seeks to promote joint initiatives in entrepreneurship, innovation, and academic development.
Participants in the meeting included campus director Diana María Salazar Rojas; head of the research team, Gladys Tamayo Perdomo; innovation coordinator, Leonardo Fabio Medina Ortiz; and national coordinator of the Entrepreneurship Unit, Yeim Dufranny Narváez Vargas. Together with the College21 delegates, they discussed proposals focused on the incubation and acceleration of business ideas, as well as the strengthening of entrepreneurial skills within the university community.
As a result of this initial approach, plans are underway to create training spaces such as workshops, academic gatherings, entrepreneurship fairs, and social outreach activities, all aimed at generating a positive impact on the institution, its surroundings, and the Huila region.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the María Cano University Foundation to educational quality, the promotion of an entrepreneurial mindset, active engagement with the productive and social sectors, and social outreach efforts directed at the university community in Neiva and the broader society it positively impacts.
