Within the framework of the 29th National Physiotherapy Congress, held in the city of Manizales on March 20, 21, and 22, Fundación Universitaria María Cano, Neiva campus, participated with two presentations derived from projects developed through internal research calls.

Professors and physiotherapists Gladys Tamayo Perdomo and Piedad Rocío Lerma Castaño represented the institution as speakers, presenting the results of their research, which reflect the institution’s commitment to the generation of new knowledge, the strengthening of research, and the advancement of professional practice in physiotherapy, in line with national and international therapeutic trends.

This academic event, recognized for bringing together professionals, researchers, faculty members, and senior students from across the country, served as a strategic platform to showcase research initiatives led by María Cano, while also promoting the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and scientific contributions aimed at advancing the profession.

Through this participation, Fundación Universitaria María Cano reaffirms its commitment to research as a fundamental pillar of academic training, contributing to disciplinary development and generating a positive impact in healthcare contexts.
