23 abril, 2026
Fundación Universitaria María Cano, Neiva campus, has joined the Red Amatista Huilense, an initiative aimed at strengthening support, care, and follow-up for victims of gender-based violence in the Huila region.
As part of its commitment to well-being and the creation of safe environments, the institution participated in an interinstitutional working session that fostered dialogue and collaboration among different organizations. The goal is to strengthen care pathways and intervention strategies through a comprehensive and human-centered approach.
María Cano’s involvement in this network is reinforced through the actions of its Student Well-being Office and the “Te quiero en la U” program, which provide psychosocial support, active listening, and timely guidance for the academic community.
By engaging in these spaces, the institution reaffirms its commitment to preventing gender-based violence and promoting the well-being of its community, contributing to safer, more equitable, and inclusive environments.
