Fundación Universitaria María Cano continues to strengthen its multicampus vision through collaborative initiatives that foster cooperation among its campuses. On this occasion, Diana María Salazar, Director of the Neiva campus, welcomed Alba Liliana Garzón, Director of the Cali campus, for a working session held within the framework of the institution’s Multicampus Institutional Accreditation process.

The meeting strengthened academic and institutional ties between both campuses, encouraging the exchange of experiences and the joint development of strategies aimed at enhancing the university community. This collaboration reaffirms María Cano’s commitment to a connected, inclusive educational model aligned with the quality principles that guide its institutional mission.

During the visit, participants discussed initiatives focused on interculturality, continuing academic education, and national mobility, all of which are essential to enriching the learning experiences of students, faculty members, and administrators. These actions seek to promote knowledge exchange, strengthen relationships among regions, and create opportunities that broaden the academic and professional perspectives of the university community.

One of the main outcomes of the meeting was the advancement of the upcoming Cali Campus Academic Mission, which will be supported and led in collaboration with the Neiva campus. This initiative will help strengthen shared learning experiences, foster integration among campuses, and expand academic networking opportunities within the institution.

The meeting also included plans for joint participation in the Rigo Tour, an experience designed to promote cultural, academic, and personal exchange among participants. This initiative will strengthen institutional identity and reinforce connections among the different regions where María Cano has a presence.
