- 9 junio, 2026
Clinical practice students from the Speech-Language Pathology and Physical Therapy programs at the María Cano University Foundation presented the results of their activities at the Rehabilitar institution, demonstrating the contribution of their training to the well-being of the patients and the strengthening of care and rehabilitation services. During the presentation, the students shared their experiences, lessons learned, and results achieved in this clinical practice setting, highlighting the interventions they carried out and their contribution to the assessment, support, and rehabilitation processes for the patients they served.

Beyond achieving academic objectives, the experience allowed participants to consolidate fundamental clinical competencies, strengthen professional reasoning, and promote patient-centered care by integrating scientific knowledge, technical skills, and human sensitivity. The activity also highlighted the value of collaboration between academia and clinical practice, a relationship that fosters the development of professionals capable of responding to the challenges of the healthcare sector and contributing solutions that positively impact the quality of life in communities.
Through these spaces, students have the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired in the classroom to real-world care settings, strengthening their ability to intervene ethically, responsibly, and in an interdisciplinary manner in various rehabilitation and care processes. The dissemination of results reaffirms the commitment of the María Cano University Foundation to a comprehensive education based on academic excellence, reflective practice, and the development of professionals prepared to generate significant transformations in the diverse settings where they will work.
