María Cano and the Popayán Metropolitan Police Strengthen Partnership for Community Well-Being

The Popayán campus of Fundación Universitaria María Cano held a meeting with the Popayán Metropolitan Police, led by Major Ingrith Michele Suárez Espinosa, Head of Human Talent, and her team, with the aim of strengthening interinstitutional partnerships focused on promoting community well-being, health, and development.

The meeting provided an opportunity to consolidate joint strategies aimed at implementing initiatives that contribute to safeguarding citizens’ rights and promoting public health, reaffirming the commitment of both institutions to building healthier environments and strengthening the social fabric.
During the meeting, key areas of collaboration were established, focusing on community health, entrepreneurship and innovation processes, as well as the development of initiatives that support training, professional development, and access to postgraduate education for members of the Popayán Metropolitan Police and their families.

Through partnerships such as this, Fundación Universitaria María Cano continues to strengthen its commitment to social engagement, comprehensive education, and the creation of opportunities that positively impact the well-being of the community and the institutions working toward the development of the region.
