Fundación Universitaria María Cano, Popayán campus, continues to promote educational and awareness initiatives that contribute to people’s well-being and the creation of safer work environments. On this occasion, the institution participated in the training event “Heroes Who Care, Lives We Protect”, held as part of the commemoration of National Occupational Safety and Health Day.

The activity was organized in collaboration with the Cauca Occupational Safety and Health Committees Network, creating a valuable learning space aimed at strengthening knowledge, sharing experiences, and raising awareness about the importance of risk prevention and health protection in workplace environments.

Throughout the event, participants reflected on the essential role played by professionals, leaders, and organizations committed to building safe, healthy, and sustainable workplaces. Fundación Universitaria María Cano was represented by Professor Nasly Soraya Bolaños, who participated as a guest speaker.
