Fundación Universitaria María Cano continues to strengthen its commitment to generating impactful scientific knowledge through the publication of the research article, «Rehabilitation Technologies for Facial Paralysis,» in the Brazilian journal Fisioterapia em Movimento. This study represents a significant contribution to the field of neurological rehabilitation by providing an up-to-date overview of emerging technologies used in the treatment of individuals with acquired facial paralysis.

Among the main findings, the researchers identified six categories of technologies with therapeutic potential. Although these tools show promising results in promoting functional recovery, the review also highlights the need to improve the methodological quality of existing studies, standardize intervention protocols, and expand the clinical evidence supporting their implementation across different healthcare settings.
