Fundación Universitaria María Cano, Cali campus, carried out an institutional visit to the Pance sports complex of Asociación Deportivo Cali, with the aim of following up on the existing cooperation agreement for the Physiotherapy program. The visit included the participation of Leidyn Vázquez, internship coordinator, and Ingrid López, along with professionals such as Juan Carlos Pino and Estefanía Jaramillo, as well as a student representative. The meeting provided an opportunity to assess the progress of the training process within this sports setting and to define joint actions aimed at its strengthening.

The session also enabled an exchange with Natalia Alarcón to promote initiatives that highlight the institution’s academic offerings among young athletes in training, encouraging the integration of sports development and higher education. This type of engagement contributes to consolidating real-world learning environments, where students strengthen their skills in areas such as sports performance, injury prevention, and comprehensive rehabilitation.
