Research, health, and well-being. The commitment of our students in the Salubristas Journal.
- 17 diciembre, 2024

At María Cano, we are pleased with the publication of two outreach articles in the Salubristas Journal of the University of Antioquia. The authors, Manuela Monsalve Uribe, Juan Camilo Yepes Mejía, and Karen Julieth Palacios Urrutia, students of the Neurorehabilitation and Social Inclusion Research Group, were accompanied by Professor Jhon Freddy Santos. This initiative reaffirms the importance of spaces dedicated to research within the institution and highlights the commitment to public health as a distinguishing feature in the Physiotherapy program. The articles, «Physiotherapy and Mental Well-being in the Community: Moving Bodies, Healing Minds,» and «Thinking About Public Health: The Physiotherapy Training Experience,» are part of this academic contribution.
We are proud to have students who, through their dedication and commitment to learning and expanding their knowledge, excel with these types of academic endeavors that become benchmarks, elevating the name of the Fundación Universitaria María Cano and shining through their contributions, which often stem from the classroom.
