- 10 marzo, 2023

The Faculty of Business Sciences made the presentation of this academic, investigative and investment space that will have the purpose of working through three lines that are articulated with the Administrative, Financial and Accounting Office: Advice and Consulting for the entire María Cano community, in financial, stock and investment market issues; the second line is the education and training that is provided to take advantage of the financial and economic dynamics in the world, as well as the new challenges posed by the use of cryptocurrencies and digital investments; The third line is the articulation with the undergraduate and postgraduate programs to accompany some subjects that favor the professional profile and its strengthening in the face of the financial markets.
In this sense, the Business Administration, Public Accounting and postgraduate programs with managerial emphasis offered at María Cano, in face-to-face and virtual modalities, will benefit an academic community close to a thousand users in the first year of work, in accordance with the projections established in the 2023 action plan. To face this new challenge, which contributes to the High Quality Accreditation route, for nearly a year work has been done on training the management group and faculty of the Faculty , so that the training proposals can be articulated with the services provided by the laboratory, which is one of the first in the Antioquia region with this special emphasis.
For the dean Marco Antonio Ruiz Correa, the work plan with the Financial Intelligence Laboratory will generate a fast and effective approach of students, administrators and teachers to the financial and stock markets at a national and international level, which will favor the generation of experiences and the internationalization of the curriculum.
The Faculty of Business Sciences invites the community to be part of the activities scheduled in the first semester of the year, where there will be a full agenda that will generate greater knowledge for professionals. This is a task, at no additional cost to the members of the university community, which is part of institutional projection actions.
