The María Cano University Foundation, Cali headquarters, participated in the discussion “Health reform, from the district perspective of Cali”. Through the Academic Committee of the Ministry of Public Health, the Institution was invited to participate in the academic activity that included the intervention of experts in primary care, public health, integrated and comprehensive networks and information systems, realities and experiences were shared. in territorial health.

Representatives of different higher education institutions participated in the conversation, where María Cano contributed to the construction of the first rapporteurship from the primary health care table with the representation of the practice coordinator of the headquarters, Leydin Carolina Vásquez Henao and the teacher Nelson Andrés Andrade Bonilla from the table of the information system.

It is important to highlight that not only health entities will participate in the changes that are proposed by the national government, it will be a construction of the country, where health programs are an important reference for the activities that will be considered in the eyes of this new reform, which is one of the most important issues for the immediate future of Colombia and which focuses all the attention on the different media. The space for dialogue will have a second meeting with the academic committee, where decent work and the training of human talent will be discussed, for the construction of the final document that will be presented to the national government.
