The María Cano University Foundation, Medellín headquarters, receives the directors of the country’s Speech Pathology programs, for the ordinary Assembly of the Association of Speech Pathology Faculties – ASOFON. During 3 days, March 29, 30 and 31, they will analyze issues related to the challenges of the program at the national level and its projection in the international arena. The main topics to be discussed in the working days will be, among others: reports on strategic axes, financial statements, election of the new board of directors, dissemination of good practices in the quality of academic programs and health care models.

The Colombian Association of Faculties of Phonoaudiology – ASOFON is an academic, non-profit organization, founded on December 4, 1999, whose purpose is to promote the harmonious development and quality in higher education of speech-language pathology programs in the country. . Its general objective is the management of collaborative, systematic and permanent work that promotes the improvement and maintenance of the quality of higher education within the academic units that comprise it, in the training of the Colombian speech therapist; at the undergraduate and graduate levels of education.
