The Faculty of Health Sciences, complying with the social commitment of María Cano, participated with its Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology and Occupational Health and Safety Management programs, in the Health Week programmed by the mayor’s office of La Estrella, held between April 17 and 20. In the activity, students and professionals developed actions aimed at providing tools for self-care of communication, physical and mental health to municipal employees. The actions carried out were well valued by the liaison at the Weimar institution, Rojas Morales, who highlighted: «I want to thank you for your willingness and connection with the health week of the La Estrella mayor’s office, on behalf of our mayor Juan Sebastián Abad and the Secretary of Administrative Services send a warm greeting and we hope to continue counting on you for future health and wellness events. Your presence in our town hall was totally appreciated, an excellent team of professionals and students who contributed their knowledge for the well-being of our collaborators.»

The Faculty of Health Sciences reiterates the commitment to the quality of life and well-being of the population in the different areas of incidence where the academic programs of María Cano have an impact, while thanking the municipal administration of La Estrella for the spaces provided so that students and teachers can carry out actions that benefit the well-being of the community in general.
