María Cano programming marathon
- 30 mayo, 2023

Students from the Software Engineering program, attached to the Faculty of Engineering, participated in the María Cano Programming Marathon, an event that seeks in a playful and fun way to challenge students to solve problems based on logical reasoning, the generation of algorithms and programs in a programming language. The activity had two categories: basic and advanced where students of all levels participated. Professor Diana Lucía Ríos Rojas, leader of the marathon and the programming hotbed Interactivesoft, who generated the call for the event, indicates: «The programming marathon is an academic space that integrates students since the work teams must be from different semesters in addition to facing problems that lead them to be creative and apply their knowledge in software development».
The winners of the María Cano 2023-I programming marathon are listed below:
At the basic level, first place went to Miguel Ángel Mejía, Jefred Erney Bedoya and Kevin Daniel Alzate; second place went to Vanessa Gómez López, Santiago Restrepo and Sebastián Avendaño.
En el nivel avanzado el primer puesto fue para Susana Ríos Tabares, Maicol Andrés Betancur y Yessica Lorena Espinosa; el segundo puesto fue para Jonathan Cobaleda Cabrera y Daniel Velásquez Montoya.
The María Cano University Foundation congratulates the winners and invites them to continue learning from the world of Software Engineering.
