The María Cano University Foundation is proud of all its graduates, who represent institutional action. From her work as a physiotherapist, she shares her achievements and thanks the teachers who accompanied her for their support in personal and professional development, demonstrating a commitment to the community. Its history reflects the institutional principles, excellence and commitment to social projection that is fostered in students. Now buy you his career and achievements since his time at the institution.
«My name is Lesly Torres and I am proud to have graduated from the María Cano University Foundation. I express my deep gratitude to this institution, which has been much more than a place of study for me; it has been a second home where I have acquired invaluable knowledge. My time at this university has been an enriching experience that has shaped me not only as a professional, but also as a human being.
One of the aspects that I highlight with admiration is the quality of education that I have received. The University not only cares about imparting knowledge, but also promotes the comprehensive development of its students. The agreements for internships and the team of highly trained teachers have been fundamental pillars in my training. Each teacher not only has a high level of preparation, but also demonstrates a deep sense of humanity when guiding students in their training process.
During my time at María Cano I had the opportunity to carry out my degree work, accompanied by two exceptional professors who guided me along the path of evidence-based research. This process not only allowed me to grow as a professional in training, but also gave me the opportunity to participate in scientific events at a local, regional and national level.
Despite having completed my studies and being a graduate, the María Cano University Foundation continues to support me in my professional projects. My integration into the world of work was relatively fast, thanks to the solid theoretical and practical knowledge I acquired at the university. This comprehensive preparation allowed me to excel and obtain the position of Physiotherapist in a prestigious medical center in the city of Cali, beating out 20 other applicants.
Today, I practice my profession with passion and dedication. Every day, when taking care of my patients, I can observe how my interventions change in some way the lives of the patients. In summary, my experience at the María Cano University Foundation has been fundamental in my personal and professional development. I thank this institution for providing me with the necessary tools to excel in my discipline and for continuing to support me in my growth as a professional.»
This is how Lesly demonstrates with her words and recognition of the work of María Cano and the teachers that her story is a symbol of quality, where other young people can be inspired to advance in their professional education and contribute, with their knowledge and experiences, to the development of society.
