Research and Social Projection: María Cano graduates excel in the academic field
- 11 octubre, 2024

The Fundación Universitaria María Cano, within its mission and integral training process, promotes research and social projection as a fundamental core that empowers the actions of students and graduates, while maintaining ongoing communication between alumni and the institution.
This is the case of Marllyn Andrea Zea Vélez, a graduate of the Business Administration program, who, along with faculty members Natalia Isabel Jaramillo Gómez from the Faculty of Business Sciences and Lina María Bastidas Orrego from Corporación Universitaria Remington, developed research for their diploma thesis, which resulted in the article titled “Telework Stress as a Consequence of the Pandemic in a Higher Education Institution in Medellín.”
The article was published in the scientific journal “Accounting and Management Research,” which can be accessed at the following link: http://fer.uniremington.edu.co/ojs/index.php/AMR.
For María Cano, research work and scientific publications by alumni showcase a significant strength in the training process of students and, above all, break barriers regarding alumni’s ability to remain in contact with the institution in the fields of social projection and research, thus upholding the María Cano legacy.
María Cano is proud of its graduates and celebrates their professional achievements; it congratulates Marllyn Andrea Zea Vélez for representing the institution with honor and also recognizes the “Sumando y Contando” research group associated with the Business Administration program for their important work in fostering research processes among students and graduates.
