Psychology that investigates and transforms
- 25 agosto, 2025

As part of an initiative that highlights the commitment to research training and the development of critical thinking in future professionals, the research group FenoPot (Current Phenomena in Psychology, Organizations, and Work) had a notable participation in the Interuniversity Research Groups Meeting, held and organized by Fundación Universitaria Ceipa.
The group was represented by Daniela Aguirre Aguirre, a student in the Psychology program, who presented the progress of her research process, accompanied by the group’s lead professor, Natalia Gómez Cardona. FenoPot’s participation is part of a coordinated effort that promotes not only the production of knowledge in organizational psychology but also the strengthening of collaborative academic spaces between universities.
Throughout the event, students from different institutions shared the research problems they are currently addressing, the methodologies they are using, and their preliminary findings. This exchange fostered valuable reflections on the role of research as a tool for understanding social dynamics, answering questions that arise from the environment, and providing solutions to real-world problems.
«The experience was profoundly enriching. Spaces like these motivate students to strengthen their research skills and to see how, from academia, it is possible to have a positive impact on the community,» said Professor Natalia Gómez Cardona.
FenoPot’s participation in these kinds of events not only highlights the work being carried out by the group but also reaffirms the value of formative research as a central pillar of university learning. Through this initiative, the institution’s commitment to science, holistic education, and social contribution through psychology is further strengthened.
