La María Cano provides advice and support to teachers, students, graduates and the community in general, in everything related to the mobility process and different procedures.

Mobility alternatives

Refers to student mobility, within the framework of an agreement signed for this purpose, for the completion of one (1) academic semester in national or international educational institutions, from the María Cano University Foundation, through which the student in a during the academic exchange period, they must be duly enrolled in the Institution and that they are carrying out activities of an academic nature in the receiving HEI, as part of the study plan leading to a professional degree.

It is the short temporary displacement of students from the María Cano University Foundation to another national or international Higher Education Institution (HEI), with the specific purpose of delving into a specific subject of the area of ​​study, as well as the approach to a new culture. The outings are scheduled in institutional groups of an academic order. This modality can be done in two ways.

It is a modality of investigative permanence in which a student participates in a training or training activity at a national or international university.

The María Cano University Foundation understands by practice the learning process that allows the student to intervene in a concrete reality, carry out programs and provide services related to the corresponding professional area, where they can exercise in the application and implementation of the knowledge acquired in their years of study. . The international internship is a modality under which the student can carry out the professional practice outside the country, in productive companies, public sector institutions, or in social entities.

It is a mobility modality where the student moves to another country to study another language.

It is the modality by which students travel to other countries to have an intercultural experience that will help them have an international vision and global citizens, where a greater acceptance and appreciation of different cultures is sought.

  • Be enrolled in an academic program at the María Cano University Foundation
  • Not having disciplinary processes
  • Have a cumulative average of 3.8
  • Have completed 50% of the academic program at the time of the trip
  • Assume the costs of travel and support during their stay at the Institution.

It is the exchange semester by bilateral agreement that allows undergraduate students from the national territory and outside Colombia to study one or two academic semesters, at most, in one of our María Cano branches in Medellín, Popayán, Cali and Neiva.
