New specialization groups of Business Sciences

The María Cano Faculty of Business Sciences successfully launched a new cohort of postgraduate programs in person: Human Talent Management, Project Management and Evaluation, and Tax Management. These postgraduate training programs aim to contribute to the training of specialists who will serve in management positions in different public and private institutions, from an approach that develops skills for the transformation of local, national and international contexts. It should be noted that the first semester of these specializations is known as the management semester and can be approved to study a second specialization in this faculty.
The postgraduate training of this faculty has international professors who offer the student a more global view and expand the spectrum of knowledge with the perspective of a scenario from the knowledge that they apply in the various contexts of each country to which each professor belongs. . The next cohort of postgraduate courses to begin is the Specialization in Relational Marketing Management, in the in-person modality, as well as the Specialization in Senior Management in the virtual modality.
The Specialization in Human Talent Management program conceives the definition of Strategic Human Resources Management (GERH) as a proactive approach to the strategic relationship between people and business processes and presents, as its most relevant characteristic, the recognition of people as elements essential for the success of the company because they can be a source of sustainable competitive advantage for it. It is understood that those responsible for human resources not only participate in the management of the processes in their area, but also in all those with repercussions for the company as a whole.
The Specialization in Project Management and Evaluation program has three differentiating attributes, which respond to the trends, needs and dynamics of the business sector in Colombia, Antioquia and specifically at the local level, the attributes that differentiate the program are: organization of the study plan through training axes, strengthening the holistic knowledge of organizations, on the other hand, a curricular design that strengthens the “Evaluation” component as a complement and provides information to those who must make investment decisions, understanding the program with a clear financial and oriented approach. to satisfy the needs of companies and the track record in innovation projects that facilitate interaction with target audiences that have been part of the different projects and research carried out by the Sumar group, the Innovation and Competitive Referencing Unit and the Entrepreneurship Center, which Through innovation projects, we formulate and raise the needs of our students, supporting them in their life projects through business innovation and the generation of new productive ideas.
The Specialization in Tax Management program seeks to vindicate the accounting/tax relationship as a field of application, which, based on international scientific advances, provides the academic community with new knowledge, which, from the classrooms, can be analyzed and perfected as a social commitment from the joint construction of all those involved. This is why the Specialization program in Tax Management responds to the specific study of Management in combination with the tax and accounting reality and makes some clarifications that will allow denoting a comprehensive training of specialists, therefore, emphasis is placed on the study of accounting and finance as a social practice which strengthens training in accounting knowledge, epistemology, research, transcending the work of the professional in this field and related fields from the merely operational.
