Fundación Universitaria María Cano participated in the 20th National and 8th International Internship and Practice Meeting, an academic event that brought together representatives from higher education institutions to reflect, share experiences, and generate new perspectives on academic internships, educational innovation, and the current challenges of the labor market.

Throughout the event, several discussion spaces were held, including the Rectors’ Panel: “Educational Innovation and Its Impact on Employment” and the panel “Connecting with Young Talent: Keys to Attracting, Selecting, and Retaining the New Generation.” These sessions addressed topics related to the transformation of educational processes, emerging employability trends, and the importance of strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and the organizations where students carry out their internship and practical learning experiences.
Fundación Universitaria María Cano played an active role throughout the event, participating in academic discussions while also contributing to the organization of the meeting. This involvement helped strengthen relationships and collaborative work with universities and institutions that are part of the National Internship and Practice Network of Colombia.

These types of academic gatherings contribute to the ongoing consolidation of internships and practical learning experiences as essential components of comprehensive education. They promote the exchange of experiences, the identification of emerging trends and best practices, and the joint development of strategies that respond to the needs of students, organizations, and diverse professional environments.
The University’s participation reaffirms Fundación Universitaria María Cano’s commitment to providing relevant, high-quality education that remains connected to the realities of society and the labor market. It also highlights the Institution’s dedication to building strategic partnerships that strengthen academic processes and better prepare future professionals to face the challenges of an ever-evolving world of work.
