Celebrating Business Administrator Day

The Business Administration program held the traditional day for this major, event that was supported by the CPAE Professional Business Administration Council. Students, professors, executives, graduates and some guests attended an academic conservatory on the impact of the Administrator’s role in 21st century companies. The event was led by Víctor Hugo Monsalve Manco, director of the program. The participating professionals were:
Manuel Felipe Tamayo: Incubation Leader – Medellín Entrepreneurship Park – Antioquia. Business administrator, master in development, international certificate as business model advisor at the University of San Francisco CA, university professor and of course entrepreneur.
Yesid Hernán Giraldo Ramírez: Systems Engineer at the University of Antioquia, network software specialist at the Universidad de los Andes. Strategy and performance professional, strategic environment analysis, corporate strategic planning – Linked to the digital transformation process for the EPM Group.
Andrés Mauricio Higuita Palacio: Public Administrator of the Higher School of Public Administration –ESAP. Master in Administration (MBA) from the University of Medellín. Master in Entrepreneurial Development and Innovation with the University of Salamanca, Spain – Currently studying for a Doctorate in Economics and Administrative Sciences. International Certificate in Learning Learning Methodology and Agile Methodologies.
The celebration allowed the interaction of the university community, through artistic and cultural events, where the delivery of awards for several outstanding people was also highlighted: student (Daniela Núñez Arias), teacher (Carlos Mario Londoño Toro), graduate (Nicolás Fernán Gutiérrez Villa ) and prominent businessman (Marco Antonio Ruiz Correa), in addition to the intervention of two of the most recognized graffiti artists of Medellín, “13” and “Mek”, from District 13, who made a symbolic mural about the celebration and who made marking of souvenirs for guests.
The activity was also supported by the Coordination of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit and by the professors of the Faculty of Business Sciences, who contributed to the commemoration.
