Registration for virtual undergraduate programs

Enrolment for in-person undergraduate programs
To be part of any of the undergraduate programs offered by the institution, the applicant has to perform the following procedure according to their admission status:

1. Fill out the online registration form.

2. Upload the following documents one by one (in pdf format) to the platform at the end of the registration form, as indicated at the end.

• Photocopy of the high school diploma or the diploma AUTHENTICATED IN NOTARY, if you have not completed yet 11th grade study certificate in original, issued by the school with a validity period no more than one month.
• ICFES test results (Saber 11).
• A legible photocopy of the identity card (enlarged).
• One 3X4 size photo, light blue background.
• Physical documents are not received unless required during the admission process.
3. Print out a form for payment of the registration fee of $108.000, at the end of the online registration or make payment by pse.

4. Present a virtual interview.
• The Foundation reserves the right to refuse admission and assigns study schedules to the students.

5. Consult the list of admitted students published in the institutional website, the Office of Admissions.

• A recent 3X4 size photo, light blue background.
• Physical documents are not received unless required during the admission process.

3. Print out a form for payment of the registration fee of $108.000, at the end of the online registration.

4. Present a virtual interview.
• Returning applicants will be notified in writing by the respective School of the acceptance or denial of their application.
• The Foundation reserves the right to refuse admission and assigns study schedules to the applicants.

• Internal transfer applicants will be notified in writing by the respective School of the acceptance or denial of their application.

3. Print out a form for payment of the registration fee of $108.000, at the end of the online registration.

4. Send the following documents in pdf format to request the validation of subjects to the e-mail documentosadmisiones@fumc.edu.co
• Letter addressed to the Dean’s Office of the program to which you are applying, requesting the study of the subjects that you consider can be validated.
• Original grades from the University where you come from.
• Disciplinary certificate stating the reason for the withdrawal, if you have not finished yet the degree.
• If you are a technologist, a photocopy of the diploma or the degree certificate that accredits this.
• Program contents issued by the institution of origin, of the subjects you want to be validated.
• The external transfer applicant will be recognized for any subject that, taken in another institution, has a minimum grade of 3.5 on a scale of 0-5 and meets the content established in the institution for the development of every subject and has the same equivalent in academic credits. The subjects to be validated may not have been taken for more than four (4) years ago.
• Physical documents are not received unless required during the admission process.

5. Present a virtual interview.
• External transfer applicants will be notified in writing by the respective School of the acceptance or denial of their application.
• The Foundation reserves the right to refuse admission and assigns study schedules to the applicants.

The Foreign Applicants interested in carrying out the process of registration, selection and admission to an undergraduate program offered by the Institution, have to take into account the following requirements:
Foreigner identification valid for the duration of the academic program to be studied issued by Migration Colombia (Colombia Customs Office).
If you have a bachelor degree obtained abroad, you must present the document equivalent to that degree. For this, you must make the corresponding validation before the Ministry of National Education, for more information go to: www.mineducacion.gov.co
Exam taken in the country of origin, equivalent to the State Examination for Admission to Higher Education in Colombia (Saber 11), in accordance with the national in force provisions. To consult the examinations that are valid in equivalence to the Saber 11 Exam, according to resolution 000204 of 11 March 2015, you can check the ICFES page.
A photo size 3X4, light blue background.
Print format for payment of registration of $ 108.000, upon completion of online registration.
If admitted, the student will be a granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, a temporary student visa valid for the duration of the academic program to be completed, in accordance with the national provisions in force.

To certify communicative competence in English, as established in Principal’s Resolution No. 575 of November 11, 2016, which regulates the certification of English proficiency for undergraduate students of the Fundación Univeristaria Maria Cano.

The selection will be through an interview, of which you will be informed by email or by phone registered at the time of registration

Publication of results
The date for the publication of those admitted will be informed at the time of the interview.

There will be no refunds for registration.
Re-entry and transfer applicants will be notified, in writing, of the acceptance or denial of their request.
The Fundación Maria Cano reserves the right to admission and to assign study schedules to applicants.
