Registration for graduate programs

Postgraduate registration requirements

To be part of any of the Postgraduate programs offered by the institution, the applicant has to perform the following procedure according to their admission status:

1. Fill out the online registration form.

2. Upload the following documents one by one (in pdf format) to the platform at the end of the registration form, as indicated at the end.
• A photocopy of the Undergraduate degree certificate.
• Certificate of work experience (not essential).
• A legible photocopy of the identity card (enlarged).
• One 3×4 size photo, light blue background
• Attach authorization form for verification of academic information (View and download here)
• Physical documents are not received unless required during the admission process.

3. Present a virtual interview.
• Consult the list of admitted students published in the institutional website, the Office of Admissions.
• The Foundation reserves the right to refuse admission and assigns study schedules to the students.

• Letter addressed to the Academic Council requesting returning into the program.
• A recent 3X4 size photo, light blue background.
• Physical documents are not received unless required during the admission process.

3. Present a virtual interview.
• Returning applicants will be notified in writing by the respective School of the acceptance or denial of their application.
• The Foundation reserves the right to refuse admission and assigns study schedules to the applicants, students.

3. Send the following documents in pdf format to request the validation of subjects to the e-mail hernan.munoz@fumc.edu.co
• Letter addressed to the Dean’s Office of the program to which you are applying, requesting the study of the subjects that you consider can be validated.
• Original grades from the University where you come from.
• Program contents issued by the institution of origin, of the subjects you want to be validated.
• The external transfer applicant will be recognized for any subject that, taken in another institution, has a minimum grade of 3.5 on a scale of 0-5 and meets the content established in the institution for the development of every subject and has the same equivalent in academic credits. The subjects to be validated may not have been taken for more than four (4) years ago.
• Physical documents are not received unless required during the admission process.

4. Present a virtual interview.
• External transfer applicants will be notified in writing by the respective School of the acceptance or denial of their application.

5. The Foundation reserves the right to refuse admission and assigns study schedules to the applicants.

Foreign Applicants interested in completing the registration process, selection and admission to a graduate program offered by the Institution, should send the following documents to the admissions register and academic control office:

Foreigner identification valid for the duration of the academic program to be studied issued by Migration Colombia (Colombia Customs Office).
If you have an undergraduate degree obtained abroad, you must submit a Resolution issued by the National Ministry of Education, corresponding to the validation of the degree, for more information refer to the page www.mineducacion.gov.co
Four photos size 3X4, light blue background.
If admitted, the student will be a granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, a temporary student visa valid for the duration of the academic program to be completed, in accordance with the national provisions in force.

The selection of admitted will be through an interview, of which you will be informed by email or phone numbers registered at the time of registration

Publication of results

The publication date of those admitted will be informed at the time of the interview.

  • There will be no refunds for registration.
  • Re-entry and transfer applicants will be notified, in writing, of the acceptance or denial of their request.
  • The Fundación Maria Cano reserves the right to admission and to assign study schedules to applicants.
